My name is Carie Andrews. I am a daughter, mother, wife, dreamer, and hobbyist photographer. I’ve always set goals that are bigger than myself, and many times I have fallen short of these goals. I have decided that I will work harder to reach those goals, even if it takes me the rest of my life to do it. Besides, what else do I have to do?!
My Life
Having turned 40 a few years ago, I have realized that we can’t sit back and wait for the things that we want in life to just happen. I’ve also learned that grabbing a hold of what we want in life can sometimes be challenging, but the reward is worth it. My life is never the same day by day.
I am a outdoor enthusiast, as long as it’s not any warmer than 75°F! I love exploring new places and new things. Photographing and observing wildlife is one of my favorite things to do outside of hiking and canoeing. My heart belongs to the mountains, more specifically the Pacific North West. I think that life is too short to stay in one place too long, so I am convinced that one day I will be able to relocate from Texas to the PNW, but that day can’t come soon enough!
I love traveling, and I try to do it as often as I can. I believe that traveling and experiencing new people, places, and things, holds more value than any material item ever could. Having the opportunity to immerse yourself into different cultures can really broaden your prospective of life. With traveling comes my love for photography. I appreciate being able to capture moments and places, and to share them with others. There have been many times that I chose to visit somewhere simply because of a photo.
Follow me through my journey of life as I set goals, fail, and succeed! My life seems to be a constant series of unfortunate events, and every now and again a very fortunate event takes place. I have learned to laugh through the tougher days, sometimes I still cry, and some days I laugh so hard that I cry!
